The 223S platform was engineered specifically for drivers who want to progress smoothly from 2S to 3S power. On a 2S LiPo battery, the BIG ROCK 223S BLX 4X4 delivers speeds exceeding 35 mph—equal to or better than many competing 2S models. When you’re ready for next-level performance, simply install a 3S battery and unleash its full 50+ mph potential.
Speed is always under your control thanks to the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter’s throttle limiting function. You can set the maximum speed to 50% or 75%, allowing you to build confidence safely before unlocking full power. This makes the transition from 2S to 3S smooth, controlled, and stress-free.
The integrated Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) within the Spektrum electronics system adds another layer of driving confidence. With four selectable modes, DSC automatically adjusts steering to improve stability on loose, wet, or uneven surfaces. When you prefer full manual control, DSC can be switched off at any time.
Heavy-duty metal gear differentials come factory installed and transfer power from the Spektrum 3100Kv brushless motor to all four wheels for dependable performance on dirt, gravel, and short grass. The fully protected power system works with an independent all-terrain suspension and oil-filled shocks to absorb landings and rough terrain with ease. Tall side guards and a tight-fitting body help prevent dirt and debris from entering the chassis. When service is needed, the hidden clipless body system provides fast and easy access.
The BIG ROCK 223S BLX 4X4 arrives equipped with premium Spektrum electronics, including an 80A waterproof ESC/receiver and a metal-geared S662 waterproof digital servo.
