The work of New York-based artist Ian Cheng (born 1984) explores the nature of mutation and the capacity of humans to relate to change. Drawing on video game design, improvisation and themes of Darwinian brutality, Cheng has developed so-called "live simulations," living virtual ecosystems that begin with basic programmed properties, but are left to self-evolve without authorial control or end. Cheng's simulations often model the dynamics of fictional or imagined organisms and ecologies, but they do so with the unforgiving causality found in nature itself. Cheng describes his simulations as akin to a "neurological gym" a format for viewers to deliberately exercise the feelings of confusion, anxiety and cognitive dissonance that accompany the experience of unrelenting change. This monograph explores Cheng's most recent "live simulations," with contributions from Raphael Gygax and Franziska Bigger, along with a selection of texts by the artist.Shipping Notes

Sturdy and classy

I purchased these individual mesh dividers to replace solid plastic dividers for three reasons - cleaning ability, function , and. appearance. I am extremely happy with this choice on all accounts. I am very happy with the mesh as crumbs etc fall through the dividers which eliminates trying to clean all 4 tiny corners of each divider Simply remove the dividers, vacuum the crumbs, wipe the drawer with cleaner, and return the dividers. Because these are individual dividers, they can be configured to your specific need or choice. Both of these reasons are as expected. In addition, they are sturdy and do not bend or warp. But what surprised me the most is the difference using the black color makes! The appearance when the drawer is opened looks classy and high quality. So, so glad I didn’t get the solid wood dividers as again I’d be cleaning tiny corners with a Q-tip. I would buy these again.

Easy to clean, sturdy, and there are little footies on the bottom (as long as you're not like me and accidentally wash them off). Fits well, works well, as we use them for sorting out utensils and keeping drawer gunk off of them.

Helps to be organized!

It helped me to get so organized! Wonderful product! I have always been a very organized person to the point of having OCD. These organizers have been a godsend. They are pretty long probably 12 in and probably 2 in wide. I fit pens, my stapler, rulers, etc in them. They fit perfectly into my top desk drawer. Such a difference instead of throwing your items haphazardly in your drawer. Very sturdy but thin. Made of metal so durable. Very easy to clean with a wipe if necessary. Not that expensive at all. Comes with 2 holders. Such a helpful product. Highly recommend!

Good quality

They are good quality, no signs of rusting or flaking, & are built very sturdy. The measurements are a little inaccurate due to the tapered edges from bottom to top, so it may not fit as expected which happened in my case. The attachment edges don’t pair to other brands of organizers well so don’t expect them to stay attached. Nonetheless, worth the money for its need.
