A bit shorter than the standard S-5-U, this compact clamp features a single setscrew and is the perfect choice for attaching signs, walkways, satellite dishes, antennas, rooftop lighting, lightning protection systems, solar arrays, exhaust stack bracing, conduit, condensate lines, mechanical equipment — just about anything. The patented round-point setscrew will slightly dimple the metal seam material but not pierce it, leaving the roof manufacturer's warranty intact.
The S-5-U mini clamp comes complete with one [2] 3/8"x 24 x 0.80" round nose set screw, but no M8 bolt as pictured. All hardware is stainless steel.

Compact Size for Versatile Attachments: Shorter than the standard S-5-U with a single setscrew, ideal for attaching a wide variety of rooftop accessories and lighter-duty applications.
Patented Non-Penetrating Setscrew: The patented round-point setscrew will slightly dimple the metal seam material but will not pierce it, preserving the integrity of the roof and leaving the roof manufacturer's warranty intact.
Simple Installation: Partially thread the setscrew into the clamp by hand, place on the seam, and tighten to the specified tension using the included bit tip with an electric screw gun.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction: Structural aluminum attachment clamp compatible with most common metal roofing materials (excluding copper). All included hardware is stainless steel.
M8 Attachment Point: Features an M8 hole for securing ancillary items using the bolt provided with the product.
Pre-Calculated Torque Specifications: For maximum holding strength on 22ga steel, tighten setscrew to 160-180 inch pounds; for all other metals and thinner steel gauges, tighten to 130-150 inch pounds.
Bit Tip Included: Each box includes a bit tip for tightening setscrews using an electric screw gun for faster installation.
Load-Tested for Reliability: Tested for load-to-failure results on most major brands and profiles of standing seam roofing. Independent lab test data available for load-critical designs and applications.
No Maintenance Required: Once installed correctly, these clamps require no maintenance or re-inspection for the life of the roof.
