The peaked Hill tailpiece is considered the most desirable for instruments needing clarity and projection. Our design is gently swooped on the top, finished carefully even on the underside, provided with subtly splayed notches, and a beautifully inlaid nut.

The Nero material is made in the USA from eucalyptus paper and thermosetting resins. It is pure black and mimics the finest Madagascar ebony. It is hypoallergenic and not susceptible to humidity or temperature change. The surface is impermeable to sweat and body fluids and therefore very easy to clean. There are no parts available that are superior. Fittings matter!
