How does the privacy filter work?
Microscopic louvres embedded in the glass restrict the viewing angle to roughly 30° from straight-on. Anyone looking from the side sees a dark screen; the user looking head-on sees the display normally. Slight brightness reduction at angles is the trade-off.
Will it dim my screen?
Slightly. Privacy filters reduce brightness by about 15-25% even when viewed head-on. Crank brightness up one or two notches and you won't notice it indoors. In bright sunlight, the dimming is more apparent.
Triple ion exchange — what does that mean?
A multi-stage chemical strengthening process that produces glass with greater hardness and impact resistance than single-pass tempering. The same family of techniques used to strengthen the iPhone display itself, applied to the screen protector.
Compatible with cases?
Yes — sized with a precise margin around the iPhone 16 Plus bezel, compatible with most major case brands. The Tora-Silk coating doesn't catch on case lips during installation.
Does Face ID still work?
Yes — cutouts for the Dynamic Island and sensor area. Face ID, Auto Brightness, and proximity sensor all work normally. The privacy filter affects only the visible display area.
