The Butyl deck flash barrier utilizes a superior butyl hybrid adhesive combined with a durable nonslip polypropylene backing. This tape effectively self-seals around nails and fasteners, providing reliable protection against water intrusion, wood decay, and structural deterioration.
Measure and cut the deck flash barrier to the desired length, then position it precisely over the target area. Peel away the release liner and firmly apply the tape. For optimal adhesion, use a small hand roller to press it down. Ensure that overlapping sections have at least a two-inch overlap for proper sealing.
