Adonis 2018Native to the Loire Valley, Pineau dAunis is a lesser known grape, and new to the Philippines as a single varietal wine. Here, its characteristics are on full display with a nose of fresh red berries, warm spices, and a bit of earth due to its 12 month aging in its lees in large oak barrels. Although fresh with bright acidity, this particular vintage is a bit darker and more concentrated than a typical Pineau dAunis with broad but smooth tannins.
