The Final Cut Pro Keyboard. Backlit. Built for the edit.

Over 100 Final Cut Pro shortcuts, colour-coded and printed directly on the keys — so every trim, transition and tool is exactly where you expect it. Spend less time navigating and more time cutting.

Available as the AB10 Air (wireless) or the AB10 Core (wired). Same keyboard, same shortcuts, same performance — one difference.

AB10 Air — Wireless Connect up to three devices and switch between them with a single tap — perfect if you edit across a Mac, iPad and secondary machine, or simply want a clean, cable-free setup on your desk.

AB10 Core — Wired A direct USB-C connection with zero latency and nothing to charge. Plug in and start cutting — it's always on, always ready. Includes a USB-A adapter for older setups.

Key Features

  • Over 100 Final Cut Pro shortcuts — Colour-coded by function across the full keyboard, with standard typing characters also shown on every key
  • Fully backlit — Three adjustable brightness levels for late-night edits and low-light environments
  • Multi-device switching (AB10 Air) — Pair with up to three devices — iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad and more — and switch instantly with the Bluetooth selector key
  • Wired reliability (AB10 Core) — USB-C direct connection, zero latency, no battery to manage. USB-A adapter included
  • Up to 3 months battery life (AB10 Air) — With backlight off, based on 5 hours of editing per day. Backlight on lasts a full working day. Or keep it plugged in and never think about it
  • Built for Mac from the ground up — Works out of the box with no drivers or downloads. Includes F-row shortcuts for brightness and volume — something most competing keyboards don't offer
  • Cross-platform — Works with Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Chromebook and Linux

Built by the people who invented the backlit shortcut keyboard

Final Cut Pro rewards editors who know their keyboard — the faster you can reach the right tool, the more time you spend making creative decisions rather than hunting through menus. The AB10 is designed around that principle.

Editors Keys pioneered the world's first fully backlit shortcut keyboard. The AB10 is the result of years of refinement — combining professional shortcut coverage, wireless freedom and all-day backlighting for editors who expect their tools to keep up with them.

Got it for my college class, it was a required text.
Format: Paperback
Got this book for one my college class, no joke this was a required text. But overall it was an okay read, only reason why I gave it a 4 out 5 is because I prefer to read books for enjoyment and interest, reading a book for class takes that away.

Superman, a Dark Knight in the Skies
Format: Paperback
This is a beautiful tome of the first issues of Superman under Action Comics and the first Superman issue. Although providing the same texts of Chronicles, I find this series better because they have more issues per volume. In spite of its 390 pages, these volumes are light and easy to handle. Albeit the simplicity and innocence of these stories, Superman impresses me as a "dark knight" of the skies given his toughness with the bad guys. In these stories, he's got no compassion for criminals. He also defends the working class, stand for fair treatment of workers, and even takes an "isolationist" stance which was popular in the days before WWII. Another surprise for the first-time reader of this period is that Superman can't fly; he can only leap over tall buildings. There is no Krypton and no Daily Planet. The city of Metropolis is introduced for the first time in the second half of this tome. And Lois Lane is often relegated to unimportant journalistic tasks, while she has greater ambitions. It is a great experience to read these old stories in a beautifully designed tome. I hope they reproduce the others quickly.

This is Superman like you DON'T remember him!
Format: Kindle
I've been a fan for as long as I've been able to tie a bath towel around my neck, so diving into these early comics has been a real joy! The character was quite different in the beginning so if you're not familiar with Golden Age Superman this might be quite the eye opener. Here in these early comics, Supes certainly isn't the Big Blue Boy Scout you knew and loved in the Silver Age and beyond; early on, he's more like the Well-Meaning Big Blue Bully/Borderline Sociopath. Sort of like early Golden Age Batman: bad guys die, Superman (or Batman) kind of shrugs and thinks, "Well, they got what they deserved..." His relationship with Lois is a bit more desperate-seeming in a few places as well. In fact, he's almost a bit stalker-ish in his pursuit/attitude toward Miss Lane. You can thank DC editor Whitney Ellsworth and a few others for softening the rough edges and turning The Man of Steel into the virtuous character we have today.
