We have this gorgeous antique Kutani bowl and spoon. This particular piece depicts two Geisha in a village with cherry blossoms in the background. Kutani porcelain is a Japanese style of ceramic ware that is traditionally from the Kutani area in western Japan. We believe this is done in the Shoza style which combines multiple techniques used by makers of Kutani. As you can see in the photos the spoon has been repaired however it is only noticeable from the back side. The spoon measures approx. 5 inches and the bowl is roughly 5.5 x 4 x 2.75 inches.
