Reptile Deli "White Ducky" Isopods: The Rare & Charming Bioactive Jewel!

Introducing Reptile Deli "White Ducky" Isopods, the rare and enchanting stars of your bioactive terrarium! These captivating crustaceans, scientifically known as Cubaris sp. 'White Ducky', are highly sought after for their unique appearance and charismatic personalities. With their delicate, snow-white bodies and adorable "ducky" face-like markings, these premium isopods add a touch of exclusivity and wonder to any enclosure.

Why choose Reptile Deli "White Ducky" Isopods?

  • Premium Bioactive Cleanup Crew: These beautiful isopods are more than just a visual spectacle—they are also excellent cleanup crews! They diligently consume waste, decaying organic matter, and mold, working tirelessly to maintain a pristine and healthy environment for your reptiles or amphibians.

  • A True Collector's Item: "White Ducky" Isopods are a highly coveted species in the isopod hobby. Their distinct appearance and limited availability make them a prized addition for any enthusiast looking to showcase a rare and stunning variety in their bioactive setup.

  • Substrate & Soil Health: As with other isopods, "White Ducky" isopods burrow and aerate the soil, cycling nutrients and improving the overall health of the substrate. This natural process is vital for the growth of plants and the stability of your ecosystem.

  • Hardy & Resilient: Despite their delicate look, "White Ducky" isopods are a surprisingly hardy species once established. They are known for their strong breeding rate for a Cubaris species, allowing you to grow a beautiful colony over time with proper care.

  • Fascinating to Observe: Their shy yet active nature and unique appearance make "White Ducky" isopods a joy to watch. They often forage in the substrate, providing a glimpse into the hidden world of your terrarium's ecosystem.

Complete your bioactive setup and support your new colony with these top-quality products:

  • Reptile Deli Springtails: The perfect partner for your isopods! Springtails work on a micro-level, cleaning up mold and detritus that isopods might miss, creating the ultimate cleanup crew synergy.

  • Reptile Deli Bioactive Substrate: A specially formulated blend of organic materials that provides the perfect home for your isopods and plants, promoting healthy soil and a thriving ecosystem.

  • Reptile Deli Isopod & Springtail Food: A nutritious, all-in-one food mix that ensures your cleanup crew is healthy, happy, and multiplying rapidly. This supplement helps them thrive when there isn't enough decaying matter in the enclosure.

  • Reptile Deli Cork Bark & Leaf Litter: Essential for providing your isopods with shelter, moisture retention, and a natural food source. They love to hide and forage beneath these natural materials.

[Quick Care Guide]

  1. Housing: A small container (like a shoebox-sized plastic tub) with good ventilation works well. Use a bioactive substrate as a base.
  2.  Substrate: We recommend our BIO MIX, but if you would like to make your own,  mix of coconut coir, compost, and sphagnum moss is ideal. Keep one side of the substrate moist and allow the other to be slightly drier.
  3. Temperature & Humidity: Maintain a temperature between 68-78°F (20-25°C). Keep humidity moderate, providing a humid hide with wet sphagnum moss.
  4.  Food: Offer a varied diet of decaying leaf litter, soft rotting wood, and occasional supplements like Reptile Deli Isopod & Springtail Food, fresh vegetables (like carrots or zucchini), and calcium powder.
  5. Maintenance: Mist the moist side of the enclosure as needed to prevent it from drying out. Replenish food sources and leaf litter every few weeks. With proper care, your colony will flourish!

LOYEE 8‑Pack Puppy Toys — Cheap, Tough, and My Pup Loves ’Em
Style: 8 - Pack Frog
I grabbed these LOYEE toys because my little teacup dog needed something to chew when the boys are loud and I’m making lunches. For the price they’re surprisingly durable — survived a few rough play sessions without falling apart — and the different shapes keep her interested so she’s not chewing shoes. They’re soft enough that the twins can toss them without hurting the pup, and washing them is easy when they get drool or dirt on them. If you need an inexpensive pack to keep a small dog entertained and not chewing up your tools or kids’ stuff, these do the job.

Highly recommend!
Style: 8 - Pack Frog, Style: 8 - Pack Frog
All the plush type toys and the frog have a great squeak toy in them that isn't too loud like most!! All are a decent size and have kept my girl entertained since I opened the package!! Love that they are bright and vibrant colors and seem to be very good quality!! My 9lh Chihuahua for size reference 😂 actually she wouldn't stop trying to steal them when I was taking the pictures lol. She especially loves the big frog and ball that you can put snacks into! The red bone seems to be a very hard durable plastic so she won't be able to chew it Into small pieces and choke, so very safe!

Chew ball and carrot only things to last.
The chew ball is awesome. Lasts forever. The carrot and multicolored rope bone also last and are very durable. The flamingo lasted ten minutes and the stuffing went everywhere quickly, I converted it into a makeshift smaller rope chew, lol. The banana had appeal….but my dogs destroyed it in two days. I liked the banana but it is flimsy. So far I’ve sequestered the Star and “meat” toys, they don’t look to durable. It’s a cheap product so you get what it’s worth. I wanted a cool flamingo but the flamingo was the easiest for my Brussels Griffon to destroy. All in all the carrot and chew ball are good but the rest not so much. Two stars.
