1. Center the hydrofoil on the top of the sterndrive or outboard motor's cavitation plate.
2. Ensure the hydrofoil is positioned correctly, leaving clearance for the propeller.
3. Mark the four mounting hole locations on the cavitation plate.
4. Use the included drill bit to drill the marked holes through the plate.
5. Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning the holes.
6. Insert the stainless steel bolts from the top and secure them with the lock nuts from the bottom.
7. Tighten all four sets of hardware securely. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the plate.
8. Verify the installation is rigid and does not move.
