The Canon FT (JL45) has been inspected and repaired by CPB Darkroom and is in working mechanical condition. The shutter fires correctly, and all dials and buttons operate smoothly.

The camera currently has no working light meter, as the required battery is not available commercially. Cosmetically, the body is in good condition with minor scratches and slight corrosion deposits on the hot shoe consistent with age and use. The viewfinder has a couple of stains, which may slightly affect viewing clarity but do not impact the final image. The images shown depict the exact camera you will receive.

Introduced in the 1960s, the Canon FT is a robust fully mechanical SLR known for its durability and straightforward manual operation. Compatible with Canon FL mount lenses, it offers a classic shooting experience suited for photographers who prefer full manual control.
