Get ready to experience the magic of "LOVE", the stunning new studio album from Swedish prog-rock legends The Flower Kings! It marks their 17th studio album in an extraordinary career spanning over 30 years. When The Flower Kings played their very first show on August 20th, 1993, in Sweden, they likely had no idea they were about to make progressive rock history. With 17 studio albums, countless live records, worldwide tours, and festival appearances, the band has built a legacy matched by few - proving themselves pioneers in the rebirth of prog rock. The lineup features three original members - Roine Stolt, Hasse Froberg, and Michael Stolt - alongside relative newcomers Mirko DeMaio and Lalle Larsson. Together, they have crafted an album that captures the true spirit of what progressive rock was always meant to be: a creative revolution, free from the constraints of commercial hit formulas. Channeling the golden age of the late '60s and early '70s, "LOVE" is brimming with vintage vibes, epic compositions, and a rich blend of influences – from classical and jazz to electronic music and film soundtracks. On "LOVE", The Flower Kings deliver over 70 minutes of sonic exploration across 12 tracks, ranging from sprawling 12-minute epics to concise 3-minute gems. The album weaves common themes into a cohesive whole, best experienced as a single, immersive journey. Listeners will recognize the band's signature balance: accessible melodies paired with moments of experimental flair, wild guitar solos, and virtuosic synth work reminiscent of their earliest records. With renewed confidence and creativity, The Flower Kings prove once again why they remain the royalty of progressive rock. Remember: War is just fear & failure, FEAR manifested in small people with shady political or religious agendas - LOVE is always the winner.

A briliant book
Format: Paperback
This book is very neat in its specifics about the effects of absence when a mother is not in a child's life and the roles and effects of mother figures as well. Myself dealing with abandonment issues from my mom and my mother figure in my life, this book really assists in identifying the issues caused from the absent parent. Though the book doesn't offer any real advice as to deal with these problems that arise, it identify's the issues and allows you to further your research in progression. The writing style used can get rather complex though, be prepared for that. I agree with everything provided in this book and recommend it to anyone who's interested in either the psychological effects of absence of a parent, or seek to identify it themselves.

Bowlby Books
Format: Paperback
As an MFT graduate student, first hand accounts are important. For the price, add depth to your research writing as the theory intended. Bowlby makes separation axiety, child anger and anger clear. This is a good read even for those who are not in a clinical field. Worth a lot more too me than I paid.

Another piece to the triology offered by Bowlby
Format: Paperback
As with Bowlbys' other works, this classic furthers the hypothesis of negative emotional influence on the continued development of humans as we integrate with our social environments. I liked it...in fact, liked all of Bowlbys' writings.

Hurrah for Jon Bowlby
Format: Paperback
Early work by someone who offered a contrast to Freud and who led the way to understanding the needs of young children. A cornerstone of most of the work of therapists today.
