When you're ready to inflate the mattress, simply pull out the mattress and connect the bag to the valve. Open the bag and turn it up and down to catch the air. Roll up the open end of the bag to trap the air inside. Squeeze the bag to push out the air inside the mattress. Repeat until the desired firmness of the mattress is achieved. The mattress can be easily stowed back into the carrying bag and transported with ease.
