This is an 18k gold Egyptian Revival pendant of Sekhmet, the lioness goddess. The face of the lion has two chrysocolla cabochons for eyes, a stone known for its vibrant, almost electric, turquoise glow. A version of this pendant was worn by King Tutankhamen in his tomb as a protective talisman. Sekhmet is depicted as a woman with the head of a lioness, and is the Ancient Egyptian goddess of war, protection, divine justice, and healing. She is said to be born from the fire of the sun god Ra’s eye. The pendant is handmade, circa the 1970’s.
The pendant measures 3/4” x 13/16”, plus a 6 x 7 mm bail. It weighs 2.75 grams. It has enough of a hallmark on its ear to indicate that it is Egyptian. Acid tests as 18k gold.

CHOOSE a DIFFERENT Bed Frame!!!!

Please choose a different bed frame. My partner and I built this today together and it took way longer than we thought it was going to because the instructions were so horrible. Some of the parts were also very flimsy. It looks good once done but it’s not worth it. I wish I had picked something else. Not to mention one of the wood pieces already was cracked when we opened the box.
