• The CA 2096 backflow preventer has a double check valve construction with intermediate relief valve, a strainer, drain valve and a stop valve and protects against both back pressure and back siphonage.
• Protects drinking water against the backflow of contaminated water up to and including liquid class 3.
• Specially developed for smaller connections to the water supply network.
• Suitable for water softeners and central heating systems.
• Easy testing of the relief valve and second check valve through integrated ball valve with drain.
• Can be sealed, protected against unauthorised use.
• Integrated shut-off valve on the inlet side.
• According to Water Worksheet 1.4G, a CA backflow prevention device must be tested for proper operation at least once a year.
• Developed in accordance with EN 1717 and EN 14367 (CAa).

• Installation requirements:
  The CA 2096 must be mounted horizontally, with the drain opening facing downwards. The CA 2096 must never be submerged in water. Install the CA 2096 in an easily accessible location with a connection to the sewer system.
