Inspired by the Best.

Worthy Sound

The Lineage Series brings a higher level of listening to your vinyl, and the Aeon3 was built for just that. Inspired by the Grado Epoch3, the Aeon3 brings to life an exceptional reproduction of vocals and instruments, with superlative tonal balance, dynamics, imaging, and realism. The Aeon3 marries color-correct harmonics with extremely detailed low frequency pitch information. Our patented Flux-Bridger generator design creates a superior balance throughout the full frequency spectrum with superb resolution and clarity, which produces an overall truer picture of the music.

“WOW!...Last night I played the Berlin Philharmonic's Direct to Disc Brahms 4th Symphony...was amazing.”

Small Necessities.

The Materials

A major step forward in phono cartridge design, the sapphire, diamond, and cocobolo work in harmony to bring this cartridge to life. The specially designed diamond stylus, for the first time in a Grado, is mounted on a sapphire cantilever that connects to the stylus generating system. The Aeon3 features a unique system that has the lowest effective moving mass of any cartridge, providing wonderful tracking on your turntable.

In the Details.

Extreme Precision

All of the internal magnetic circuit parts are Swiss screw machined or moldedmetal, which have tolerances on the order of the best Swiss-made watches. Combining newly developed coil winding techniques with decades-old disciplines bring exact unison between the four coils in each phono cartridge. This creates precise balance between channels and accurate stereo imaging.A new four-step shielding process allows the isolation of the wire turns in the coils, and creates an unrivaled clear path for the signal to travel.

The Sound of Wood.

Built from Cocobolo

The Aeon3 is nestled inside a cocobolo housing, adding solid mass and a boldyet revealing signature sound. Cocobolo, known for fine instruments and those chess sets that look too nice to touch, is some of the most beautiful and tonally pleasing woods we have ever used. This specially selected species ofcocobolo goes through a variation of thermal aging processes and enhances its ability to better dampen and control the resonant frequencies throughout the cartridge. Its denseness and grain is a primary reason why it produces such a unique sound.

With Love.

Hand-Built in Brooklyn

Each Aeon3 built sees final assembly by John Grado himself on his workbench. Every experience in our history has led to the creation of the Lineage Series. The Aeon3 represents the craftsmanship and unwavering dedication to sound that has been Grado’s main focus since 1953.

Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Wonderful classic
Format: Board book
This book challenges the assumption that more is better, bringing back memories of my own easy-going childhood. Ezra Keats is remarkable in his ability to create a story that so many people can relate too and the books illustrations also manage to pull you back into your own childhood memories and moments of wonder at snow. His artwork is spare yet the pictures burst with brilliant color and expression. In many of the pictures, Peter lacks facial features except his eyes, but Keats manages, with the angle of his head and the composition, to convey feeling. The text, similarly economical, is made up of just enough words to tell the story -- none of them too hard for a young reader to sound out or for a young listener to understand -- and they are vivid words used powerfully, often rhyming or repeating. The result is that kids (and parents too!) can settle into Peter's snowy world. A bonus in this sparkling story is the African-American main character -- an all-too-rare occurrence, still, in children's literature. I try to expose my child to a diverse array of characters in his story books and am still left disheartened when I return from the book store because, unfortunately there really are too few choices that are quality stories that both the adult and child can enjoy reading. This is one of those books. The story is engaging and still simple enough that a child can follow along.

An amazing story by an amazing man! I am honored!
Format: Kindle
A must-have book for anyone of any age! Find out what happens on a snowy day for one adventurous little boy, who loves to play in the snow. The illustrations are unique and captivating, and blessed readers with the eclectic artwork and storytelling of Keats. This book is very special to me, as I was recently nominated for the 2015 Ezra Jack Keats Award for new author of the year. When I read this book, my heart swells with appreciation for the work of this man, and that I am even being considered for an award bearing his name. He was indeed a pioneer of children's books in his own right. I especially liked the chance at the end of the book, to get to read about and see how the book became the award winner that it is. His unique ability to transform words and art into captivating children's stories is phenomenal. I am grateful for his part in the paving of the literary road, so that new authors like me can use his works to continually inspire us to write from the heart, and through the loving, imaginative eyes of a child. If ever I feel doubtful in my own writing career, I will always read his books and remember that his name is synonymous with greatness. To even be considered for an award with his name on it, has indeed changed my life as a person and a writer. I hope my writing career will make him proud, that I was considered for his namesake award.
