Moducare Daily Immmune Support 180 VegiCaps is an excellent source of plant sterols. These beneficial plant fats, also known as phytosterols, are found in fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Phytosterols offer immunity enhancing properties and can activate the cells that regulate immunity. Phytosterols are also said to have anti-inflammatory properties and can possibly help lower the release of the stress hormone cortisol. These combined benefits of phytosterols offer significant support to daily immune system health.*
The key difference between Moducare and other immune system aids such as echinacea is that echinacea only stimulates the immune system, while Moducare balances it. Furthermore, echinacea is not recommended for prolonged use or for people with autoimmune conditions. Moducare, on the other hand, is a daily immune support nutrient and may be used by people with autoimmune conditions.* It is suggested to take Moducare for two to three months before evaluating whether it is effective for you.
How It Works:
Moducare is considered a daily supplement and should be taken for as long as you want to help balance the immune system. Sterols and sterolins do not “fix” the immune system, but provide the nutrients needed to help keep it in balance. They are absorbed in the small intestine and are then transported to the cell membrane. Here, they are beneficial to the messenger system within the cell and modulate specific immune factors that can help control disease conditions.
Dosage:
Adults and children 17 years and over: Take 1 capsule three times daily OR 2 capsules upon arising and 1 capsule before bed. Children 11 to 16 years: Take 1 capsule, twice daily. Children 5 to 10 years: Take 1 capsule, one to two times daily. For best results, take with water or juice between meals on an empty stomach. Use for a minimum of two to three months to see a beneficial effect.
Ingredients:
Beta-sitosterol (from pine tall oil pitch) 20 mg, Beta-sitosterolin 0.2 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Rice flour, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, cellulose, vegetable cellulose.
Caution:
Moducare is well tolerated and considered safe. However, when the immune system becomes balanced, some sensitive individuals may experience symptoms that indicate the body is trying to rid itself of toxins. These symptoms are temporary and may include digestive problems, rashes, headaches and fatigue. Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have sitosterolemia.
