Who is Philip Kingsley Elasticizer for?
Good news: this mask suits all hair types and textures, and is safe to use on coloured hair. If you’ve got unwanted frizz, or you’re feeling a bit worse for wear after colour treatments, Elasticizer has your name on it. Suitable for all hair types, from fine to thick and tightly coiled. The only thing to watch out for is using it around a colour appointment at the salon - you’ll want to leave it alone for 72 hours either side.
How should I use Philip Kingsley Elasticizer?
So, most masks get used in the place of your conditioner, but this one is a little different. It’s a pre-shampoo treatment. First, wet your hair (we use a little spray bottle) and then apply the mask generously to your mid lengths and ends. You may like to section your hair so you can be sure you’re getting even coverage. Then, bundle your hair up under a shower cap or towel (the warmth from your head will help it work) and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. There’s no upper limit, time-wise, so you can even leave it on overnight if you want. Then, rinse thoroughly, and shampoo and condition as usual. Winner.
