The TPRO-TXD Wide Brick Transmitter forms part of FSR 's TwisterPro UTP Transmitter/Receiver system. Combined with an optional TPRO-RX receiver, this transmitter allows for long-distance transmission of RGB video, stereo audio, RS-232 data and IR control data. Offering the highest level of signal integrity and error-free transmission, this system uses affordable, easily installed Cat-5/5E/6 cable--a major advantage over bulkier, traditional video and data cables.
Through cable runs of up to 1000 feet, the TPRO-TXD uses RJ-45 connections to transmit not only all RS-232 and IR data, but video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and 24-bit stereo audio @48kHZ. A single VGA port handles RGB, component, composite or S-Video signals, while RS-232/IR data is carried over a 4-pin Phoenix plug. Full expandability is possible using optional 1-in/8-out hubs, which can be cascaded to allow up to 512 outputs.
The TPRO-TXD is ideal for control rooms, classrooms, houses of worship, boardrooms and other applications needing reliable video, audio and data transmission with no electrical interference. Its "brick" style housing can be used on any surface, or it can be rack mounted with an optional rack mounting kit.
Note: This is only one component in a larger system. In order for this unit to work properly it must be paired with a receiver. AC adapter is also purchased separately.

Cheap, easily breakable, and barley works

First off, it didn’t even come with the charging chord, so I had to order another separately after it came. The product broke the fourth time i used it, the whole thing came apart when i tried taking my phone off. When it was working, it charged maybe 1% every hour. Definitely not the best choice in the category, look at other options

Works great, but included cable is too short

The cable included is only about 3 feet long and has a USB-a plug. Teslas now have only USB-c outlets, so the cable is useless anyway. If the cable were 6’ long and type USB-c, it could be tucked under the molding and hidden. I had to get another cable to complete the installation. I like this mount/charger because it is nondestructive - it doesn’t use tape or glue to install. The magnet is strong and it charges my phone quickly.
