From the Welo region of Ethiopia, the source of some of the world's most colorful opals. Natural and untreated. Note that Ethiopian Welo opals are hydrophane - porous by nature and may temporarily absorb water, which can temporarily enhance the play-of-color. An ideal pendant focal stone for bold, statement-making jewellery.
