This fall limiter features a 2m long self-retracting webbed strap reeled into a compact plastic housing. A shock absorber and two quarter-turn aluminium connectors complete this assembly, making up one of the market's lightest fall limiter/arrest systems.

With two quarter turn connectors, you can achieve secure connections without carrying the extra weight and bulk of a larger scaffold hook. The “reel” end of the limiter connects to your harness arrest point, while the shock absorber end can be anchored to a suitable anchor point on the structure you are working on.

This arrester works much like a seat belt in a car, dispensing up to 2m of durable webbing when pulled in a controlled manner; it does this in both horizontal and vertical orientations. However, placing an abrupt load across the reel block locks it limiting a fall. At this point, if enough force is present, the shock-absorbing element will deploy to reduce the felt forces and the likelihood of injury. This fall limiter is an excellent tool for roofers, scaffolders, and others working at height and in the “dangerous area” where a fall could occur.
