VIAGRA CONNECT contains the active substance sildenafil. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited and causing an erection.

VIAGRA CONNECT will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually excited (stimulated).

VIAGRA CONNECT is a treatment for men aged 18 years and older with erectile dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence, is an inability to achieve or maintain an erection that is firm enough to have sex. Erections depend on many different factors, including proper blood flow to the penis. Reduced blood flow to the penis may cause erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can affect men differently. Some cannot achieve an erection. Others may achieve an erection, but not firm enough for having sex or they may lose the erection before or during sex.

You should schedule a health check-up with your doctor/GP as soon as possible within the first 6 months of starting to use Sidena/Viagra Connect to check for underlying medical problems that can sometimes be associated with erectile dysfunction.

You should inform your doctor that you are taking Sidena/Viagra Connect so they have full knowledge of your medicines history when prescribing other treatments for you which may interact with sidena/viagra connect

Sidena/Viagra Connect is only intended for men 18 years and older who have erectile dysfunction (ED), (not being able to achieve or maintain a penile erection to have sexual intercourse) . Men who do not have ED will not benefit from using this product.

The dose is 1 tablet taken 1 hour before sexual intercourse and you should take no more than 1 tablet in any 24 hour period

Sidena/Viagra Connect may not work for you on the first time and it and it may take several attempts on different days for it to work. If it does not work after several attempts, you should seek medical advice from a doctor

Medicines containing any nitrates (e.g., glyceryl trinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, amyl nitrite also known as ‘poppers’), or nitric oxide donors (e.g., sodium nitroprusside or nicorandil), must NOT be used at the same time as Sidena /Viagra Connect as this combination may lead to a dangerous fall in blood pressure. 

Grapefruit/juice should not be consumed whilst taking Sidena/Viagra Connect

There may be some common side effects, such as headache, flushing, acid reflux, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea, visual disturbance, cyanopsia (blue-tinted vision) and blurred vision. 

The following are medical emergencies and  you should attend a hospital emergency department immediately 

• Priapism (an erection lasting 4 hours or more, or unrelated to sexual arousal)
  
• Chest Pain
  
• Sudden loss or decrease of vision
  
• Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
  
• Severe skin reactions (peeling, swelling, blistering of skin/mouth, genitals, eyes and/or fever)
  
• Seizures or fits
