Fist of the North Star by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara is among the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. Moreover, it's immense popularity has allowed its characters and themes to rise up into legendary pop-culture status!

With this in mind, the talented team at Prime 1 Studio wanted to perform work that was more than up to the task of portraying such a seminal character in the Fist of the North Star universe: the power-hungry, and extremely ruthless Raoh, Ken-Oh...King of Fists!

Prime 1 Studio's 30-inch-tall Raoh is magnificent to behold! Covered in his gold and leather armor, he stands proudly as a warning to the next useless weakling in his path. With his arm outstretched, he displays his raw power like only a Master of Hokuto Shinken can!

Our sculptors ensured that we nailed Raoh's intense stare and threatening demeanor. Raoh's anatomy is befitting his stature. Equally, our skillful painters rendered Raoh in stunning realistic hues and tones. Raoh is portrayed in his best form as a blond with fair features. They accentuated the intricate detail and careworn look of his leather chestplate, as well as his bracers and boots.

Raoh, Economy Version allows you to see the full view of the King of Fists' powerful features, complete with the emphasized furrows on his forehead.

The textured surface provides a decent grip when carrying it around the house. It has bounced off furniture and walls a few times and still looks surprisingly good afterward. The size worked well for my medium-sized dog and was easy for him to grab. There were a couple moments where it got stuck in tight spaces, but that’s more a result of enthusiastic play than a problem with the toy itself. The activity level definitely increased when this ball started moving around. It’s been a fun way to add a little extra excitement to indoor playtime.

Easy to charge and bounces nicely on the grass

Getting the kids' backpacks ready usually means the dog gets ignored for a bit and starts pacing. I turn this ball on and toss it out the back door. It has a surprising amount of bounce on the grass, and the random movements keep him running circles trying to catch it. Pushing the button to switch the rolling modes is straightforward. The battery gets me through a few play sessions before it needs to be plugged back in. The outer shell gets pretty dirty outside, but wiping it down with a damp rag cleans it right up. It’s got a decent weight to it, so it doesn't just get stuck under the lawn chairs immediately.
