The performer removes a deck of cards from a card case and fans the cards showing a mixed deck. He then removes the two jokers and puts a rubber band around the middle of the deck. The performer lifts a portion the deck to illustrate how audience members are to peek at cards while the rubber band is around the deck. The deck is then tossed to FIVE different people, without any secret switches. Five people peek at a card anywhere in the deck. After peeking at a card, the person remains standing.
Important Note: One worry with the old tossed out deck is that if a participant accidentally let an extra card or two slip off his thumb, the method would be exposed. The Knockout Deck eliminates that. If a person lets a few cards riffle off his thumb either accidentally or purposely, the method will not be exposed!
The performer asks the five people to think of their cards. He then invites the audience to think of random cards to attempt to confuse him. The performer claims he will READ only the thoughts of the five people standing, despite being bombarded with thoughts from the audience.
The performer says that he thinks that TWO of the standing volunteers have somehow peeked at the same card, an amazing coincidence.
HERE IS WHERE THE ROUTINE IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER VERSIONS:
The performer says he will call out the names of cards that he is getting the impression of. He tells the participants, when I call out your card SIT DOWN. This is different from the old method, where you call out all the cards first, then say, "If you heard your card please sit down."
With the knockout deck routine, you tell them BEFOREHAND, when you hear your card sit down!
There are several ways to end the routine and two are shown here:
- As the performer starts calling cards, the participants start sitting. TWO sit at the same time, just as the performer predicted. Two are thinking of the same card! Finally, there is only ONE PERSON left standing. The performer says to him, "Think of your card, your card is the Ten Of Diamonds and he too sits down."
- As the performer starts calling cards, the participants sit. Two participants are left standing. The performer says, "As I said earlier, I thought two of you were thinking of the same card. I believe you both looked at the Two of Diamonds." They agree and sit down.
- NO SLEIGHTS
- NO LONG & SHORT
- NO ROUGH & SMOOTH
- NO GLUED TOGETHER CARDS!
NO WORRIES ABOUT AUDIENCE MANAGEMENT, WITH THE KNOCKOUT DECK THE SPECTATORS CAN HOLD THE DECK ANYWAY THEY WANT TO. THEY CAN PEEK AT A CARD WITH THE DECK EITHER FACE UP OR FACE DOWN. IF THEY RIFFLE A FEW CARDS OFF THEIR THUMB, NO PROBLEM AS WITH OTHER DECKS.
The Knockout Tossed Out Deck helps eliminates worries about after show talk. Although not normally a problem, if spectators compare notes after the show, they will find that two of them did think of the same card and the other cards were different. People seldom talk that way, but if they did, the Knockout Deck helps eliminate the exposure that could happen if you were using the standard HOY Deck. This is fully explained in the directions.

Small and mighty. Good quality.
Color: M01 Black, Color: M01 Black
In the past few years we’ve started buying only whole bean coffee to use in our French press. Given a few blackouts this past winter we thought it might be a good idea to have a manual coffee grinder on hand (instead of having reserve grounds).
This compact grinder is good for a serving of two. It reminds me of a peppercorn mill and will fit 3 tablespoons of coffee beans.
Overall I’m pleased with this product and would purchase it again. However, in the future I would also consider a larger and more ergonomic mill as I usually make at least 4 cups (4 tablespoons) of coffee at a time. The top can also be a little tricky to remove.
PROS:
- Grind setting works well
- Quality feeling materials
- Relatively simple to operate
- Cost/value
CONS:
- May be too small for some
- Top may be challenging to remove (e.g. Those with arthritis or difficulty with fine motor movement)

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
Color: M01 Black, Color: M01 Black
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, it’s been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the pre‑ground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15–20 seconds. It’s quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup.
A few things to note:
• The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however.
• Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months I’ve found my sweet spot, but it’s not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home — which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness.
• I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe that’s overkill, but I’m used to doing it with my home setup.
On the upside, it feels well‑built, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength.
Overall: A dependable, travel‑friendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. I’m happy with it and would recommend it for office or on‑the‑go brewing.

Satisfying and convenient.
Color: M01 Black
I've been drinking powder coffee and drip coffee, and wanted a change. This thing is really satisfying to use (I love the crunch) and clean. It's really sturdy, I've dropped mine once or twice and it's still going. It's small, and easy to adjust, but I mostly just grind it medium. It's utilitarian, but still looks quite pretty. Looks just like the pictures.

I use it everyday and love it
Color: M01 Black
I was worried when I first purchased my mini manual coffee grinder. I was afraid I would not be able to use it due to arthritis in my hands.
Well! No worries now. This little guys works great. It grinds fine to course and without undies stress on my hands.
Thank you for making such a great grinder for all us nomad folks who enjoy freshly ground coffee in our rigs.

Good for the price, but has its limits
Color: M01 Black
You get what you pay for. Grind consistency is decent, but even the lowest grain setting won't get you close to a true espresso grind — it still produces a coarser result than expected. It's fine if you're using a pressurized portafilter, but not ideal for a bottomless one. Worth considering only if you don't mind spending 15 minutes a day grinding your morning coffee. After a few months, I got tired of the manual process and now just buy pre-ground espresso from a local coffee roastery
