Each replica model is made to order.

The following is a description of the order and payment process for the FE Masterworks™ program.
1. Due to the custom nature of the creation of FE Masterworks models, unless otherwise specified on the product page, they will be produced individually, and the timing of construction commencement will depend on the particular modelmaker’s backlog at the time the order is placed. Each replica is expected to require up to six months for completion once construction begins.

2. At the time an order is placed, a non-refundable reservation fee of $500 will be required to ensure a customer’s place on the order list. Once the model maker is able to begin production, the next person on the order list will be contacted and will have 10 days to provide a production deposit of 50% of the replica price (excluding shipping costs, which will be calculated and payable at the time that the model is ready to ship). The previously paid reservation fee will be applied against the production deposit. If the customer fails to pay the production deposit on a timely basis, in the sole discretion of Factory Entertainment the order will be removed from the order list and the reservation fee previously paid will be forfeited or the order will be placed at the bottom of the order list and a new reservation fee may be required to remain on the list.

3. Once the model has been completed and is ready to ship, the customer will be notified and will be presented with various shipping options and costs.  The customer will then have 10 days to select a shipping method and to remit the balance of the purchase price plus shipping costs and sales tax if applicable.  If the customer fails to do so, Secret Compass and Factory Entertainment may, in their discretion, offer the model to the next customer on the order list.

4. Should a customer’s model be unable to be shipped within 18 months following payment of the production deposit, upon written request the deposit will be returned to the customer, unless the delay in shipment was due to customer nonpayment or to any conditions commonly understood to constitute “force majeure”, including, for the avoidance of doubt, global or regional pandemic conditions or any supply chain disruptions, in which event the obligations of Secret Compass and Factory Entertainment and the customer shall be suspended for the duration of such conditions.

5. Because each FE Masterworks™ replica is a bespoke, made-to-order or extremely limited edition item, Factory Entertainment’s 30-day voluntary return policy does not apply.  However, each FE Masterworks™ replica is covered by limited warranty.

6. In the case of items that are available for immediate shipment, full payment, including shipping costs and any applicable taxes, will be required at the time of purchase.

Good history of the court despite some bias
Format: Hardcover
This was a very interesting history of the court and a fairly good account of how it had changed as well as in other ways not changed over 2 centuries. In the final part regarding the current court, it is apparent that the author is not even handed regarding his analysis of the current justices and decisions, especially regarding anything involving President Trump. Overall, scholarly and well cited with much good analysis and explanation, at least through 80% or so of the book.

Even handed approach and approachable
Format: Kindle
The accolades provided by the book reviewers are accurate. This is accessible, non-partisan and shows a keen understanding of how our legal system has developed over the history of the US. As a practicing attorney, I found myself exclaiming over and again "wow, I didn't realize that!" throughout the read. I studied many of the cases he discusses in law school. I've read other books about the Supreme Court included Wm. Rhenquist's History of the Supreme Court and The Bretheren. Even though I was a serious student, I was enlightened by the author's telling of the story. Like a good history book, this is well-researched.

A must read at a good cost
Format: Hardcover
A recent release and should be read by everyone in order to understand the history on why we have a Supreme Court, why it is the most powerful in the world, its origins, why our founding fathers believed it was necessary and how it addressed significant events in our country's history; paperbound is the best and a good price for an depth analysis or such an important institution

You don't have to be a lawyer to read this
Format: Hardcover
I typically read my non-fiction books from cover to cover, but not this one. I'm using it as mainly a reference book. I thought the author might exhibit some 'left coast bias' but I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
