The Woodhaven 4555K combines our popular 4555 Box Joint Jig with the 4553 Upgrade Kit in one complete package. This is the easiest way to cut box joints and finger joints because the work moves over the jig rather than the jig moving with the work. Fewer moving parts means less chance for error and cleaner, more consistent results on every joint. Works on your table saw or router table.
What Makes This Jig Different:
- Cuts any box joint or finger joint between 1/8" and 13/16"
- 24" aluminum Ultra Track fence with bit/blade cutout and replaceable MDF sub-fences
- Adjustable aluminum pins prevent part slippage during the cut
- Attaches to any miter gauge (miter gauge not included)
- Works on table saw or router table
What the Upgrade Kit Adds:
- 4555D Setup Jigs: Five piece set for quick, accurate setup of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" joints. No test cuts needed
- Work Platforms: Two adjustable HDPE platforms attach to the underside of the Ultra Track and provide a smooth, stable surface for your workpiece. Eliminate friction between the saw or router table and the bottom of the part
- Adapter Head: Attaches the jig directly to your miter gauge so you do not have to make your own
- Stop: Indexes against the Adapter Head to help fine tune joint size for a perfect fit
- Blade Shield: Attaches to the top of the Ultra Track and projects out the back where the bit or blade exits for added safety
