The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install.
A 1.5 inch center hole is provided for the installation of chandeliers and fans. The overall measurements are 79 x 4 x 63. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.
