I have collaborated with @NockingPoint Wine on their very first CAPSULE COLLECTION™ wine drop! Together we have worked over the last few months to bring to you “Gaudere” - a Pinot Noir named after a term coming from the Latin verb meaning "to rejoice or take pleasure in", which felt fitting given it evoked the joie de vivre one experiences while drinking wine.
I chose to go with my classic swinging trapeze method as it's movement reminded me of the act of swirling wine in your glass to bring out all it's aromatic layers. The color palette was chosen to emulate the textures and flavours typical of a pinot noir - elegant, velvety and fruit forward. I hope that you enjoy drinking this wine as much as I loved creating the art for it!
Each CAPSULE drop is limited to just 500 units and includes the following custom, collectible components:
→ Two bottles of ultra-premium wine individually numbered from 0001 to 1000
→ One additional, hand-cut, authentic wine label pulled from the original press roll
→ A 16" by 20", limited-edition, print reproduction of the original artwork printed under the artist's specific direction and supervision, and shipped separately from the wine to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition
→ A Certificate of Authenticity to commemorate and certify the elements inside the CAPSULE
