It's a rich flamed mahogany which artisans would have carefully selected boards to display the beautiful 'flame' pattern you see on the doors. The piece with original corbels appear on each mitered corner which adds a lovely detail. The lovely marble top exudes the classic and timeless elegance. The two spacious drawers above are accessed by turned wood knobs. The doors have a key which still works and locks revealing a spacious interior.

Condition report:
In great antique condition throughout as has been freshly polished. Overall, a lovely example of its kind. The marble has a couple of stains from here the dresser would have been originally but consistent with the age and period (Pictured). It certainly only adds to the beauty of this piece and the history attached with it. There is a key with this piece and all the drawers open and close well. There are a couple of chips to the front pediment style feet on the side and straight back (Pictured). It does not affect the strength. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
