Early original model DKR-2 wire bikini chairs with Eiffel base designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller circa early 60s. Includes two wire chairs with Eiffel base with dark olive green bikini cushions. The early age and industrial nature of the chairs is apparent in the patina and wear throughout with original white powered coated steel showing through the painted surface, wear throughout the vinyl with a few tears and other marking present. The Eiffel bases are in great shape with all bolts and hardware present and connected with no breaks in welding; buttons and wire clips also present with connecting string to top and bottom cushion loose; stitching on cushions intact and in good shape; original plastic feet caps present and encasing the steel ball foot. Retains original and intact Herman Miller Redwood Ave Los Angeles, Ca label on underside of each chair circa 1963.

A third olive green bikini Eiffel chair available however has one break in weld that needs repair. Two others without upholstery also available with heavy rust throughout.
