Mandrel bending and fabrication parameters are extensive, and a variety of tooling allows us to offer tube processing from 3/8" to 5"OD in both aluminized and stainless steel. Diamond Eye Manufacturing is located on a 23-acre complex and has immediate plans for expansion. Currently, the company utilizes over 60,000 sq. ft. for manufacturing components. Separate from the manufacturing facility, our Warehouse Distribution Center utilizes highly efficient shipping methods and a substantial amount of inventory to ensure rapid response times for delivering customer orders in a timely fashion. Our new state of the art Research and Development Center was established to keep pace with the ever changing automotive performance aftermarket. We have taken great care to outfit the facility with an array of testing equipment to provide our engineers with the information needed to design the best systems available. Fit is ok
They are a definite improvement from my original 22 year old grills but they have some clear differences in quality of the chroming, if you compare oem to these side by side the oem grills look smoother. also they don't fit great at least not on my car, albeit with a bit of nudging they fit pretty close to the originals. Overall not bad for something that is a quarter of the price of the oem part

Looks terrific - great price
I needed to replace just one, but ended up using both the left and right so that they matched. In the closeup picture you can see that the original part is chrome with black on the inside edges of the fins, where the replacement is all chrome. This is only obvious up close if you're looking for it. There is also a slight gap in the fit at the lower inside corner - so not perfect, but also not noticable at any reasonable distance. Wide shots shows both replacement parts installed.
As others have mentioned, this is not the same quality as the original BMW part - but at 1/4 of the price, it is a darn good value and has restored the look of my car.
FOR 2003 CONVERTIBLE OWNERS: This part fits the "pre-facelift" model manufactured through March 2003. I learned this the hard way, because I didn't know about the facelift that came half a year later for cabriolets than it did for hard top models. Make sure you know which side of that manufacturing date your 2003 convertible is on before ordering.

Buy OEM
Finish is fine but sizing is wrong and these don't fit tight but rattle. About 3/4" movement in all ways, which will lead to scratched paint.
If you've got a beater, these are fine but for my clean M3, I'll buy OEM from FCP or Turner.
