Aaron is a Marine Corps combat veteran turned professional woodturner and woodworker who has an incredible eye for detail and beauty. His years of experience in woodworking and lamp making yield the extraordinary, high quality lamps we have come to expect from Thomas Fine Woodworks. This lamp is turned by hand by Aaron on a wood lathe from a solid piece of Maple wood. The wood for this lamp is locally sourced and ethically harvested in a sustainable manner. Because of Aaron's profound love for his medium it is exceedingly important to him that these resources exist for future generations and employs a philosophy of seven generation stewardship.

The wooden body of the lamp is dyed black with a water soluble wood dye. All of the hardware on this lamp is brightly polished nickel hardware. The lamp shade is a platinum gray dupioni with chrome finished fitter.
