Upper: Features a WAVEKNIT upper technology that provides a natural and dynamic fit with stretch and hold abilities. Independence Day details are featured throughout for a patriotic touch.
Midsole: U4ic midsole compound in the topsole and a softer U4icX foam and PEBAX wave plate in the heel. Premium anatomical sockliner. Features more flex grooves in the forefoot and a lateral crash pad.
Outsole: Durable solid rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike.
Note: The Waveknit R2 features the same last and support as the Wave Rider, but has a WAVEKNIT upper construction.
