This plant produces a dense, oval head of deeply cut foliage and upright growing branches. The foliage first appears as light-green in Spring, before maturing to display a vibrant mix of orange, red and crimson in Autumn.

A low maintenance, fast growing tree. This Acer can be grown in either full sun or partial shade, but will produce a more vibrant autumn colour in partial shade. Plant in moist, fertile, neutral to acidic soil that is well drained. This tree is a perfect specimen plant for a cottage or city garden.
