Customized Classic
Feast your eyes on this customized version of the classic Wild One Off-Roader, which is the work of Blockhead Motors' creative driving force Jun Watanabe. Given a tasteful blue livery in contrast to the red and black color scheme of the original, the polycarbonate body is pre-painted and cut, and can be fitted with the included window netting, car number boards, and even a dummy antenna for that quintessentially retro look. Dedicated sticker designs feature the Blockhead Motors logo among many more, for a busy and stylish final look.

Capable RWD Off-Road Chassis
The model's durable ABS plastic box type frame is matched with a battery case which is compatible with modern power sources such as Tamiya Racing Packs and LF batteries. Its four-wheel independent trailing arm suspension is equipped with front and rear aluminum cylinder oil dampers, and the front damper mount is also aluminum. At the rear, the gear differential provides smooth cornering and is housed away from sand and other foreign objects in an enclosed gearbox; low-friction dogbone type driveshafts feature dust boots on their joints for further protection. The silver color roll bar features metal component, and plated wheels, suspension arms, side guards and gearbox give this buggy a classy finish.

Jun Watanabe: Graphic Designer / Blockhead Motors CEO
Mr. Watanabe is a designer whose work ranges from fashion projects to graphic and product design. In addition to being involved in the design of collaborative models, he has also flourished as an artist and movie creator. He has loved Tamiya R/C cars since his childhood, and has produced "The Hornet by JUN WATANABE" spotted design in 2012, plus Tamiya apparel goods.

Blockhead Motors
The R/C car brand which deals in stickers and apparel, and customizations of Tamiya off road buggy models from the 1980s, also taking part in the design of collaborative fashion, music, and skateboard projects to expand the horizons of R/C cars. Also, this brand regularly holds events to get opportunities to meet R/C fans, and Tamiya R/C cars produced by Blockhead Motors have been popular among not only Japanese fans but people across the world.

At first I thought this was a little expensive for a paper towel holder, but after using it for a few days, I completely understood the price. It’s very sturdy and honestly delightfully functional in a way that basic holders just aren’t. The spring-loaded arm works really well and actually allows easy one-handed tearing without the whole thing tipping or unraveling. A few things I liked: Weighted base keeps it firmly in place Non-slip bottom works well on countertops Spring arm holds the roll securely and makes tearing easier Stainless steel finish looks clean and modern Feels much sturdier and better made than cheaper versions A couple minor things: The arm is a little stiff at first, but loosened up slightly with use Larger/thicker rolls can fit tightly until some paper is used Overall, I think it’s a really good value for the money and performs exactly as advertised. One of those kitchen items that seems simple, but once you use a better-designed version, you definitely notice the difference.

This is the one!! The only paper towel holder I will ever have in my home.

I don’t usually get this excited about a paper towel holder... but THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!! Seriously. I give this SMARTAKE paper towel holder 4 stars. Overall, it's a very good product that I would recommend, but it has one minor drawback that takes away a star. The Positives Quality and Stability: The holder feels good quality, and the material (steel) is sturdy. Once placed on the counter, it's stable and adheres well to the surface. Assembly and Use: It was easy to put together; just read the instruction manual. I confirm that it works well even with large paper towel rolls. Furthermore, it's not difficult to change the roll at all. The Drawback The only problem is the small mechanism that's supposed to adjust and hold the roll (the piece that prevents it from twisting too much). As the paper gets used up, this piece doesn't do its job properly, and the paper unwinds more than it should. Conclusion: If you're looking for a modern, stable, and well-made holder for your kitchen, this is excellent. Just keep in mind that the adjuster isn't the best, but other than that, it does its job perfectly.
