Chest & Shoulder Protection - Carbon-reinforced HD Foam Shoulders: The VX1 PC chest protector is built with a wide floater profile, extending and sitting higher over the shoulders compared to Vaughn's SLR chest protectors. Vaughn's widened, Pro Carbon floaters are built around a high-density foam core, reinforced with carbon inserts to provide proper protection and maximum coverage for the highest levels of competition.
- Kevlar® Chest & Package: Kevlar® aramid fibers help provide further protection for the sternum, without adding excess weight. Aramid fibers are often used in the production of cut-resistant protective equipment for their incredibly high strength by weight. I love it but wish the tubes the bracelets slide onto were a bit smaller. It’s difficult to fit cuffs on without having to bend them and I don’t even have small wrists. Very pretty and fits a lot of cuffs and bracelets.
