Take your sanding performance to the next level with the Safety Speed 43" x 75" Wide Belt Sander, designed for precision, power, and durability in professional woodworking shops. Engineered with a robust 10 HP motor and built for continuous operation, this machine ensures consistent results on even the toughest projects.
Standard features include photo electric belt tracking for reliable accuracy, a 2-1/2” removable platen for versatile sanding applications, and dual height adjustment indicators for precise control. Safety is built in with five emergency stops and durable 2 rubber-covered pinch rollers (1-1/2” OD) to keep materials secure.
The sanding system is powered by a rubber-covered contact roller (4-1/4” OD with 1-3/8” drive bearing), along with 2 machined idler rollers (2-3/16” OD with 3/4” bearings) for smooth operation. A conveyor table set on four ¾” acme-threaded jackscrews delivers stable and accurate feeding, while pneumatic belt tensioning provides consistent sanding pressure.
For clean operation, the machine is equipped with a 6” internal dust chute, ensuring efficient dust collection. The 1 HP conveyor motor delivers reliable material feed, supporting seamless sanding from start to finish.
