This teleconverter doubles the effective focal length of compatible Nikon F-mount lenses. For example, a 100mm lens becomes a 200mm lens when mounted. As with all 2× converters, maximum aperture is reduced by two stops (e.g., f/2.8 becomes f/5.6).

Compatible with select Nikon F-mount manual focus and autofocus lenses (compatibility depends on lens design and aperture coupling). Best results are achieved when paired with prime lenses of f/2.8 or faster.
