The Hollywood chinrest is a rarely found and very comfortable side mounted chinrest that extends over the tailpiece with a raised hump. At the highest point the chinrest stands 28 mm cup above the surface of the top, and the arch underneath the chinrest has been engineered to clear most peaked tailpieces. It is both comfortable and gives the player outstanding effortless leverage.
