Rotten Apple is the latest incredible cultivar to come out of the Jet A reversal project from the acclaimed breeders at Perfect Tree.
Rotten Apple was created when Perfect Tree crossed their selection of the Lemon Butter Cream (Triangle Kush x Sour Apple IBL) from Alien Genetics with Perfect Tree's Jet A reversal.
This cross allowed the unbelievable fuel and gas terps from the Triangle Kush & Jet A to combine with the Sour Apple creating an exotic fermented fragrance. This fermented aroma is pleasantly similar to the sweet funk found around apple trees before harvest, where some fruit has already dropped to the ground and started to degrade, but the overall aroma is still sweet and fresh like ripe apples. Some phenotypes are even sweeter, thanks to the lovely notes of freshly baked caramel which is almost like the flavour of apple cider syrup on the palate.
The plants are quite easy to grow, with them generally being on the shorter side of medium & the buds are sticky and chunky, you’ll find only a few variations of phenotype and with a little bit of luck you’ll find a plant that you’ll want to keep forever!
