This expressive self-portrait is a meditation on overwhelm. My doubled, blurred eyes and tangled patterns mirror the chaotic feeling behind the phrase I often used when asked how I was doing: “Everything, all at once.” Colorful and restless, the piece captures the humor and exhaustion of being constantly stretched in many directions.
