Is this pizza oven convertible to natural gas?

No, Member’s Mark 16" Rotating Gas Pizza Oven is propane only, and ready to connect to a 20 lb. propane cylinder (not included).

Can I adjust the temperature of this pizza oven?

Yes, the 16" pizza oven has a variable temperature control knob that allows the user to lower the temperature if needed.

What is the benefit of the rotating pizza stone?

The rotating motor is a very convenient feature that will keep the pizza turning to avoid burning. The rotating pizza stone will offer my even cooking temperatures for the pizza with less effort.

Does the cast iron griddle plate included need to be seasoned before use?

Yes, the griddle plate included needs to be seasoned in advance of use. Seasoning will protect the cast iron surface from surface rust and corrosion, seal and protect the surface, creating a sleek non-stick surface. Follow the instructions outlined in the user manual.

How is the Rotating motor powered?

The rotation motor is powered by two D cell batteries which are included.

How do I use the cast iron griddle included with my pizza oven safely?

Member's Mark 16" Pizza Oven can achieve temperatures up to 900˚F. Always use grill gloves resistant to extreme temperatures when loading and unloading the oven, to avoid burns. The cast iron griddle comes with a removable handle, that must be positioned correctly into the griddle in order to balance the griddle properly. Never leave the handle on the griddle during cooking as it will retain the high temperatures of the oven and will burn your hand. The wooden trivet included with the griddle, should be used when removing the hot griddle from the oven.Keep in mind, the wooden surface will warp and become scorched under the high heat, after first use, but has been included to offer surfaces and counter tops, some protection from the extreme heat of the griddle.

Does the 16" pizza oven include a cover?

Yes, Member’s Mark 16" Rotating Gas Pizza Oven includes a RPET all-weather cover to protect the oven and store indoors.
