APPLICATION

Application area It is applied as a protective layer prior to the installation of synthetic coatings, specially designed for concrete supports that present humidity of up to 100%, allowing young concrete to be coated with conventional resins. Radiant floors, mortars, decorative floors, imitation of terraces, floors for parking lots, waterproof, anticorrosive ... to name just a few examples. Our goal is to satisfy the needs of each type of area with the soil that best suits it.

Base requirements

The base concrete must have a minimum resistance of 25 N / mm2, free of dust and all types of contamination. It should be dry to 75% RH per BS8204 and free of moisture or water pressure that can rise to the surface. In this case, you can incorporate the Microestil Estilpox DPM primer; before applying the coating Cement-based finishes can be applied directly over the Estilpox. If an aggregate-based dusting has not been applied, the coating should be applied within 24 hours after applying the Estilpox. 

Conservation One year from its date of manufacture, in its original package, unopened, indoors and

avoiding frost and direct exposure to the sun.

Product life

Estilpox DPM is practically a permanent membrane under the coating, as long as there is no severe damage to it, no structural movements of the concrete or thermal changes above 50C.

One coat application

On wet concrete.

1st layer of Estilpox DPM from 0.4 kg / m2 to 0.5 kg / m.

Sandblasting of the primer is recommended.

Aggregate dusting: For a cementitious finish: Siliceous sand of (0.4-0.9 mm) at 0.5 kg / m

Use

2 coats spread with a rubber brush on a perfectly clean and vacuumed concrete surface.

Installation must be done by an approved installer to ensure system quality.

Thickness: 0.5mm.

Silica sand of (0.4-0.9 mm) at 0.5kg / m2 is recommended for a cementitious finish.
