Using and Caring for Your Blackboard

Before first use, the board should be primed with white chalk to prevent ghosting and ensure smooth erasing. This can be done using either white anti-dust chalk or natural calcium carbonate white chalk, both of which evenly coat the surface before wiping clean.

For everyday use, a felt blackboard eraser clears chalk efficiently, while a textured cotton blackboard cloth removes remaining dust and helps maintain a clean drawing surface over time.
