Blushing Bride Lotus has BREATHTAKING, ethereal blooms in shades of heavenly pink with more saturated color on petal tips, with creamy-white anthers and sunny-yellow receptacles.  This exquisitely beautiful lotus flower has flat outer petals and ruffled inner petals, creating a magnificent bloom! Blushing Bride Lotus is a stunning lotus plant in your pond or in large containers on your patio or pool side. This tall lotus can grow up to 8 feet tall in very wide containers!

Lotus Planting Instructions

Plant your lotus tuber in heavy loam soil using a large, wide (24-48 inches or wider) no holes container. Once you have added heavy loam soil to your container, dig a trench across the surface of the soil and gently place your lotus tuber in the trench being careful not to damage the growth tips. Pull some soil over the tuber but leave the growth tips exposed. Gently add 4-6 inches of water over the soil and place your container in a location where it will receive 8+ hours of sunlight each day. Soon you will have coin leaves on the surface of the water.

Lotus Fertilizing Instructions

Once you have aerial leaves growing out of the water you may fertilize your lotus plant by pushing 4-6 fertilizer Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs Plus Humates into the soil around the soil, being careful not to damage the lotus roots.

Our German Sheppard loves these

These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.
