Each student will have the opportunity to create their own piece of glass art with the assistance of the instructor from one of the following forms: a small vase, a stemless wine glass or a drinking glass. Pieces will be available for pickup a minimum of 48 hours following completion of the class. This is a 2 hour class for 1 person.
This is a 2 hour class for 1 person. If you would like to sign-up with a friend, sign-up for 2 consecutive time slots. (4 hours) Students have the choice of mouth-blowing, using an alternate inflation method with a foot pedal and compressed air or a blowpipe hose extension or a combination thereof. If you have been sick recently or are exhibiting cold symptoms rescheduling is requested. (minimum 24 hours notice)
Supplies: We supply safety glasses (if you wear glasses for both distance and reading those are fine), Cotton clothing and closed-toe shoes required. A water bottle or other drink is recommended. Feel free to take pictures if you like. Note: For safety, classes will be rescheduled should the heat index exceed 95 during class time.
