Egton Bridge to Grosmont - Moors on WheelsThis trail takes us along the estate road for about 2 km, running parallel with the river Esk on the right side. It is an easy route with no steep ascending or descending and is a section of the ever popular Coast to Coast Walk. Depending on the time of year the track sides and the river banks can be abundant with a large variety of wild flowers and localised wildlife. If it is easier for access this trail can be done in reverse by parking in Grosmont

If it is easier for access this trail can be done in reverse by parking in Grosmont and following the trail to Egton Bridge before making the return journey.

 

Start: YO21 1UY (this is the postcode for the bus stop near to the estate entrance). Parking can be found on Broom House Lane or at the Station.

What you will need:

In order for you to enjoy and take full advantage of the events on offer, it is imperative that you look after yourself and turn up with the appropriate kit. We highly recommend suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year and a reasonable level of fitness. Unfortunately, young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
