"Stylish and enticing, the wine shows perfumed aromas of dark cherry, plum, thyme and hazelnut with a floral overtone. It’s beautifully weighted on the palate with refined texture and plush mouthfeel, finishing persistent and polished. The wine combined stunning fruit purity with seductive complexity, making it engaging and highly appealing. At its best: now to 2032" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Ripe, fruity and varietal with core scents of wild dried herbs releasing a savoury quality, then aromas of fresh dark skinned cherry, roasted nut, some gun-flint quality then raspberry and red apple skin. Oak is present in the bouquet though not a feature. As the wine touches the palate the textures and flavours are all pinosity with red berry fruits and savoury spices, the oak now releases some structure, spice and a whisper of smoke. Gun flint and nut along with raspberry and red apple also continue. Well made, taut and youthful, fresh and saline. Best drinking from late 2025 through 2034+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Moderately intense, fruit-focused pinot noir with blackberry, dark-fleshed plum, cassis, dark cherry and a dusting of spicy oak. Accessible wine that’s easy to love. Very approachable now" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review

"The powerful 2023 vintage was grown at two sites in Bannockburn, matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (20 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered.   Still a baby, it has deep, purple-flushed colour.  Mouthfilling, with vibrant, dense, plummy, spicy flavours, it is a complex, savoury, firmly structured red (some would call it 'brooding'), crying out for cellaring.  Best drinking 2027+" Michael Cooper, Jun 2024

"Gorgeously fruited and enticing, the bouquet shows dark plum, blueberry, violet, hazelnut and fragrant spice nuances, leading to a superbly weighted palate offering outstanding focus and concentration. Refined and richly textured with layers of complex flavours, combined with beautifully melded tannins, finishing impressively long and alluring. At its best: 2026 to 2037" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

The colour is impressive dark purple/garnet with a savoury nose that is intense and intriguing with graphite, dark cherry, blackberry, cedar, nutmeg, rosemary, and field mushroom. The palate is highly concentrated and dense with silky tannins that are lifted by impressive acidity which is a wonderful contribution from the higher elevated site. A unique expression of the Bannockburn sub-region with lovely cassis, bramble fruit, florals, and a touch of umami. This Pinot Noir has an ethereal nature, expressing intensity and poise from great sites in a stellar sub-region. It is notably fresh and bright at release, it will benefit from decanting when drinking now, and it will certainly reward those who choose to cellar it with a wonderful journey of development for at least 12+ years.

Nice tool, but with a 4 year life span.
I bought this on Nov. 2020, after hand surgery left me temporarily unable to do simple yet necessary tasks- like opening a wine bottle. 🤪 It's compact, nicely designed, and reliable. I kept it plugged in all the time with no issues. The only negative so far is the blue light which stays on whenever the unit is in the base, fully charged or not. (Not a fan of the many small yet bright lights from all appliances! Placing a Talking Yoda figurine in front of it blocked enough of the light to satisfy me). I found it easy to use and appreciated the foil cutter. Worked well on all types of corks. Flash forward to spring 2024... Despite the constant charging, the corkscrew dies at maybe a half inch into the cork. Just slows down and dies. Having read earlier reviews, I may try to crack it open and replace the battery. But ultimately, having regained my hand strength back, I'm more likely to go back to an old fashioned, reliable, hand operated corkscrew and celebrate the loss of weird lights and needed electricity. Conclusion: unless you are recovering from hand surgery, just get a good quality non- electric corkscrew and use it for 75 years (optimistically). Best deal ever. And you can take it camping too.

Wonderful opener
Color: Black
FINALLY!! A product that works efficiently, exactly as promised, and does an excellent job with no learning curve. This wine opener is easy to use, and works exactly as it should. The capsule cutter works like a breeze, and the cork lifter is smooth and fast. It pulls the cork, then reverses, and pushes the cork back off and into your waiting palm. Totally impressive! Wish all products were made as well.

Great wine ipener
Color: Black
Works great and good cutter. I wish the base was a little smaller I don’t need to display the wine aerator so it would have been better to make the base small and just be a charger and bottle cutter holder
