The materials used in all Amoena swimsuits are eighty-three percent Micro Nylon and seventeen percent XTRA LIFE™ LYCRA® with ECONYL® to make the fabric extremely sustainable. XTRA LIFE™ LYCRA® is a long-lasting material that holds its shape, and fit, extremely well. It's also highly chlorine resistant.

ECONYL® recycles waste such as scraps of fabric, fishing nets, carpet flooring, and industrial plastic. It returns these materials to their original purity and turns them into yarns and polymers. The nylon produced is the same as fossil-based nylon. These materials are then used in the production of fashionable clothing and interior items.

Amoena Wave Seam Swimsuit

The design of this swimsuit utilizes popular Amoena features such as the soft pocketed cups and the Amoena Wave Seam. The soft pocketed cups use an Aqua Wave swim prosthesis. The Wave Seam is an invisible seam designed for comfort and invisible support. This design feature is an innovative curved seam that also provides under bust support.

There are several key benefits to the design of this bathing suit, starting with bust shaping. Using an elastic under band. This integral bra allows for the wearers to be worry free about their swimsuit slipping down or falling forward even when it’s wet.

Pocketed Swimwear

It also uses pockets that can hold breast forms if the wearer so chooses. These pockets are very discreet and allow for no slipping of the inserts the wearer decides to use. They are accessible from both the top and the side, allowing for easier access and wearer peace of mind.

The cut of this swimsuit is also designed for maximum comfort. The underarm area of the swimsuit has extra coverage without it being excessive. The leg line and the back are both standard cuts for swimsuits. The leg line is ensured not to be too high or too low; making it both suitable and flattering for all ages and body types. The backline is the standard one to two inches below the bra line. All of these design choices are to maximize both comfort and peace of mind for wearers.
